Napa Day 13

Daddy arrived yesterday! I was so happy to see him that I gave him lots of hugs and kisses! I kind of missed my daddy. We had Italian food for dinner, but I wanted to play my game and play with the puppies instead of eating.

I didn’t want to get up this morning. I wanted to snuggle with daddy instead. I didn’t want to use the potty either because daddy was there. I like to be a stinker when daddy is around. I had French toast for breakfast and we went to therapy.

We had speech first. We put the Vitalstim on, but it wouldn’t work at first. I wanted to switch it on but it kept saying the pads weren’t connected. We finally got it working and did my exercises. Next we used the speech device, but it wouldn’t work properly either. My screen changed so we had to reset it and it added a lot more stuff than I’m used to. Instead of doing what I was supposed to I decided to see what all of the new stuff did. Next we decorated the Christmas tree. I put presents on the tree, but I didn’t want to put them under. I put a ball on the tree but I didn’t want to put it on the top like I was supposed to. I just wanted to play with the tablet.

Next we went to OT. We put my suit on and started with the slide board. I had fun doing this so I actually did what I was supposed to. I rolled through the obstacles and did wheelbarrows across the mat. Next we colored a picture of Santa. I love Santa and get excited when I see him. I colored and we glued a cotton ball on his hat. Then we traced shapes and fed the tennis ball guy.

Then we went to PT. I didn’t want to do PT today, so I made everything really difficult. We started with balancing and walking on the buckets, but I didn’t want to do it without somebody holding my hand. Then we did some jumping. I didn’t want to jump either, so I just stepped over everything instead. I did catch the ball like I was supposed to, but I didn’t want to do anything else after that. I decided to sit on the floor and refused to move. I said bye to everybody and I was ready to go.
